College Hill, Ohio #1 Residential HVAC Company
Heating, Cooling & Indoor Air Quality Services in College Hill, Ohio
College Hill is a neighborhood locaed north of Downtown Cincinnati. A wealthy suburb in the Greater Hamilton County area, College Hill was originally called Pleasant Hill. However, the name later changed to College Hill because of the colleges that were built there in the mid-19th century. In any case, the community is often confused with North College Hill, which borders it to the north. Currently, College Hill has a population of more than 14,000. William Cary was one of the area’s first settlers in the 19th century. After migrating from New Hampshire in 1802, Cary purchased just under 500 acres of land north of Cincinnati along Hamilton Avenue. At the time, he built a log cabin and moved his family to this area, which was still “wilderness.” Eventually, it became known as Mill Creek Township. In 1833, Cary’s son Freeman G. Cary started the Pleasant Hill Academy for boys on part of the land.
The academy eventually turned into an agricultural school called Farmer’s College in 1846. That school became Belmont College in 1885, and then formed the core of the Ohio Military Institute in 1890. A separate school, the Ohio Female College, was founded in 1852 by Reverend John Covert and operated until 1873. Replacing any sort of home comfort system is a big job that can be expensive. However, sometimes it can be even more expensive not to replace an outdated unit. If you have an outdated furnace or air conditioning unit that’s inefficient, it can actually cost more trying to keep it in commission — paying for frequent repairs in addition to high heating and air conditioning costs — than to go ahead and face the inevitable. If you are ready to take that step and replace a heat pump, furnace, or air conditioner and need finance options to replace the equipment, we can help! Your local heating, air conditioning and indoor air quality experts here at Finneytown Heating & Cooling have maintained strong relationships with area lenders and financial institutions who partner with us to help our customers through the process of buying a new home comfort system, whether it be a heat pump, A/C, or furnace. Our job is to help you maintain that perfect level of indoor comfort year-round and pay for it with reasonable monthly payments that have low-interest rates and flexible terms. This way you can enjoy your new HVAC system now, and pay for it over time because sometimes home comfort can’t wait here in Ohio.
